GCS-type low-voltage withdrawable switchgear is suitable for use in low-voltage distribution systems such as power plants, substations, petrochemical sectors, factories and mines, high-rise buildings, and so on, as well as for electric energy conversion, distribution, and control such as capacitance compensation.

The GCS type low-voltage withdrawable switchgear has high making and breaking capabilities, good dynamic and thermal stability, an advanced and reasonable structure, a flexible electrical scheme, a high protection level, safety and reliability, ease of maintenance, and excellent technical performance indicators.

GCS-type low voltage withdrawable switchgear is engineered for heavy distribution duty — power plants, substations, petrochemical sites, factories, mines, and high-rise buildings — combining feeder distribution, motor control, and capacitor compensation sections in one drawer-based line-up. High making and breaking capability together with strong dynamic and thermal stability keeps these boards composed where fault levels and load continuity both run high.

Feature of Low Voltage Withdrawable Switch Cabinet

  1. The cabinet frame uses double-folding technology with aluminum-zinc-coated steel plates. The frame has modular holes spaced at 25mm intervals (K profile). The frame is simple to construct and durable. The entire frame is joined exactly by transverse and longitudinal bolts, and the frame structure requires no maintenance.

  2. The shell is electroplated and powder coated. The top cover of the horizontal busbar region may be removed for easier on-site busbar installation.

  3. Each functional room is clearly segregated, with divisions primarily divided into functional unit rooms and cable rooms. Each unit's functions are autonomous and have no effect on one another.

  4. The horizontal busbar is mounted flat beneath the cabinet, increasing its capacity to withstand the electric power generated by a short-circuit current.

  5. It features a drawer-style construction and can accommodate up to 36 circuits. The rated current of the circuit is 400A or less. The drawer circuit may be converted to three positions without compromising its protection level.

  6. Each unit may accommodate up to 11 drawers or 22 1/2 drawers.

  7. The drawer has five positions: opening, shutting, testing, pulling out, and isolating, and it features clear signals that correspond to sound, light, and text directions.
